GCSS District Parent-Family Engagement Plan Now Available

In support of strengthening student academic achievement, we have developed a parent-family engagement plan to engage parents and families in the education of their children and to build the capacity of Title I schools to implement parent-family engagement strategies and activities designed to achieve district student achievement goals. The plan (in English and Spanish) is available on the Federal Programs tab under Parent and Family Engagement.

Registration available for 2021-22 school year

Parents and guardians who have a child that will attend public school in Glynn County for the first time next school year are encouraged to register their child now for school in August.  The 2021-2022 school year will begin on Tuesday, August 10.

In recognition of Suicide and Bullying Prevention Months, which are September and October respectively, the Glynn County School System will join other school districts across the nation in a campaign to end social isolation, bullying and youth violence.
